Overheard at the gym:
The woman next to me on the treadmill at the gym confessed to me that she's so uncomfortable with her body, that she won't let her 8 year old daughter see her naked. Read what happened next....
Confessions & Answers with Celeb fitness expert Holly Perkins
True Body Confession:

"Historically, when I go through a break-up, I gain a lot of weight. I am going to break up with my boyfriend, (we're just not right for each other), and I'm afraid of the weight gain now! I'm in my 30s, already need to lose 10-20 lbs.Scary. I better start training NOW. (and remind myself that ice cream is not a substitute for dealing with sadness.)"

RULES

CONFESSIONS

Please respect the confessions booth by refraining from the following:

  • Shameless profanity (unless this is the only way to make your point.)
  • Obvious lies (Lies have their place, just not here.)
  • ADD YOUR STORY

What is an 'Add Your Story'?
True Body Confessions is meant to be a safe place to share your innermost feelings without being judged by others. We want community members to be able to connect with one another, so we've provided an option to share your own similar story with the person who has confessed. If you want to express positive reinforcement or commiserate with a fellow confessor, please do it using the Add Your Story button. Please be respectful. We've all been scrutinized by other women and made to feel uncomfortable about our bodies. It doesn't feel good so let's not do it here.

What is the TBC 'Add Your Story' Policy?

TBC moderates confessions and story submissions before they are posted on the site. We try to approve every confession and story, but we have to delete those that include the following transgressions:

    • are judgmental
    • are abusive, vicious or condescending.
    • express the desire for negative things, such as death, to happen to another person
    • are really meant to be advertisements for other sites or businesses
    • detail harmful and/or illegal activities
    • are directed at TBC moderators or staff

What happens when I submit to 'Add Your Story'?

As long as you have registered to post on the site, you are considered a Trusted User and your posts will immediately be submitted to our moderators. If you've selected to follow your post, you'll receive a message when your post goes life and when others respond to it.

Why do I have to register?

Registering allows us to make your experience on TBC more interactive. And we confess, it's also an extra precaution against negative posts. TBC will restrict the posting privileges of registered users who are repeatedly abusive in the community.

Why isn't my submission on the site?
There are three scenarios in which this happens:

    1. Technical malfunction.
    2. You have not registered to comment and thus have not received your Trusted status.
    3. Your comment was flagged as abusive by two or more members of the community. Once a post is flagged twice, it will be automatically removed from the site and sent to our moderators for consideration.

Why has my Trusted User Status been taken away?

If your posts have been flagged as abusive more than five times, TBC staff members may have determined that you violated our rules and as a result, blocked your IP address. We do this because the sheer volume of confessions and stories precludes us from having time to individually consider and remove posts by someone with a pattern of not following our rules.

Can I get my Trusted User Status back?

Contact the TBC staff at admin@truebodyconfessions.com and we'll chat about it.

What do I do if I see a submission I find offensive?
You can alert our moderators, who will use their best judgment to determine whether the comment violates our policy. Send them an email with the date, time and text of the post in question at admin@truebodyconfessions.com.

    CONTENT

We reserve the right to publish your confessions at our own discretion. We also reserve the right to use and modify confessions as standard procedure for True Media LLC. When you confess on True Mom Confessions, you are granting us the right to a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, fully sub-licensble, exclusive right to use, reproduce, modify, translate, adapt, publish, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display, and delete such content in other works in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed.
